Zankex ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Zankex is operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom and complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What data we collect

Calculator inputs: Financial data you enter into our tools (revenue, costs, hours, etc.) is processed entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. This data is never sent to our servers, never stored in any database, and never seen by us. When you close the browser tab, the data is gone.

Email address: If you subscribe to our mailing list or purchase a paid report, we collect your email address. This is stored securely by our email provider, Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), and used solely to deliver your report and send you occasional tool updates and business tips.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Payhip. We do not see, store, or have access to your card details, bank details, or payment credentials. Payhip handles all payment processing securely. Please refer to Payhip's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, tool completion rates). This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from it. We do not use Google Analytics.

How we use your data

We use your email address to deliver purchased reports to you, send occasional tool updates and new tool announcements (if you subscribed), and respond to support queries you send us. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third parties. We do not send unsolicited marketing. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

Our site uses minimal cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting solution that does not require cookie consent.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data (your email address), unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link in any email, request a copy of the data we hold about you, and lodge a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) if you believe your data has been mishandled. Data retention

Email addresses are retained on our Brevo mailing list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Payment records are retained by Payhip for their standard retention period. We do not retain any calculator input data as it is never sent to us.

Children

Zankex is designed for adults running businesses or side hustles. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
